Who am I?
My name is Amine Haddad and I am the author of this website. I created it so that I can share my solutions to problems in various fields such as programming, network and system administration, and design. I started programming applications when I was very young, and since 2006 I have been doing web programming. My operating system of choice is Linux, and my favorite distribution is Arch Linux.
Education, Employment, and Experience
I am currently studying Software Engineering full-time at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. I used to be a full-time programmer at a software development company, but I am now a student. I am experienced with many programming languages. My top 5 programming languages are C, C++, C#, Java and PHP.
Activities
I enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, camping, hiking and working out at my local gym. I like to play computer games every once in a while. My top 3 games are Age of Empires II, Freelancer and Fallout 3.
Plans for the future
(1) I plan to graduate with both a Computer Science and Software Engineering degree at the University of Ottawa. (2) In the next few years, I'd like to develop a multi-player game where you keep on building/training your character and compete with other players. I will call it a success if I get 150 players on average playing against each other. (3) I would like to buy a house in the next couple of years.
